Jewfish, or Mulloway, are large predatory fish that can grow to mammoth proportions.
With large numbers returning to the Harbour due to the cleaner water, there are now some sensational 'Jewies' to be caught right in the middle of the Harbour.
Generally caught on live bait such as squid, Jewies are cunning feeders, preferring to wait for the waves or currents to bring them food. Often found lurking in deeper, discoloured or darker water, they can be extremely difficult to locate if you don't have a grasp of tides and lunar phases.
